Now, Nars just became the latest company to give the new wave of glosses their best shot with their upcoming release of Velvet Lip Glides.

In a release, the brand explained that the hybrid formula “combines the fluidity and effortlessness of a gloss with the coverage and comfort of a lipstick.” Hmm…sounds familiar. We already know Nars as creators of on-point backstage beauty moments at Fashion Week – not to mention inventors of many of our favorite, fully pigmented makeup products – so we have faith they’re latest launch will fully deliver. Expect balmy mattes infused with “oil infusion complex” for comfort and plush texture.
