It doesn't come close to the "10-hour hydration" claim that YSL makes (you'll be lucky to get a couple hours at best), and we also noticed that it took multiple coats to reach "vibrant" status due to the translucency of the colors, but there's still reason to consider this glossy stain if sheer, bright lip color is your thing.

Its hybrid texture resembles a lightweight gel that feels a bit tacky on lips. The slanted applicator is easy to work with and is just the right size to allow for precise, even distribution.
